Baby swimming, including submersion, is now one of the top activities chosen by new parents and more and more babies are learning life saving techniques, as well as experiencing the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Alexandre and Daniella Boutin are outstanding photographers and independent filmmakers, utilising exceptional creativity and skill to produce striking imagery both above and below the water.

With a shared passion for the underwater realm, they travelled the world building up their knowledge and experience in this field before settling back in the UK.

In 2002 they set up h2o productions ltd., a specialist production company offering water-related filming and photography. Their work has been featured in numerous publications, such as Usborne Book’s ‘Teach Your Child to Swim’, as well as undertaking advertising campaigns for clients including Huggies Little Swimmers. They have contributed their work to many charitable projects including Tommy’s Splashathon, the Down’s Syndrome Association, and the fundraising ‘Underwater Dinner’ event.

After being asked to photograph babies swimming for a press feature, Daniella and Alex were captivated by their grace and beauty in the water. Since then they have photographed thousands of babies at their underwater portrait shoots.
